Dover port information
Dover Eastern Docks,
Dover,
Kent

Dover is one of the most popular ferry ports in the world and is easily accessible. Situated at the end of the A2 main road from London and close by the main M20 motorway from London, access to the port is clearly signposted on your arrival at Dover.
The terminal at Dover is open 24 hours a day seven days a week. On arrival at the terminal just follow the signs through frontier control and then follow the signs for the DFDS Seaways check in booths. If you arrive without a ticket you will first need to buy a ticket at the Travel Centre (open 7am till 7pm).
However, it is always cheaper to buy your ticket in advance of arrival at the port and this also guarantees that space will be available for you on the ferry. Please note that we do not accept foot passengers on the Dover – Calais route.
